the creative eye behind the camera and the heart behind every photograph. I believe in capturing moments that transcend time and tell beautiful stories of love, life, and connection.
My passion for photography was ignited by the love of my life, and I've been on a journey ever since, freezing cherished moments in time for amazing couples like you. Join me on this adventure as we explore the artistry of life and love through the lens.
I’m Brooke Elliott, and I’m a wedding photographer based in the amazing cities of Nashville and Memphis, TN! I know you’ve probably seen my work on the website or Instagram, but I wanted to take a moment to let you in on a few things about me. I’m not just a photographer—I’m a real person with a life, family, and a whole lot of excitement for what I do. So, if you’re thinking about working with me, I want you to know who I am beyond the pretty wedding pictures. Let’s do it!
First off, my family is EVERYTHING. I’m married to Isaac—he’s my rock, my best friend, and the best guy I know. We’ve been married almost 4 years, and we just welcomed our baby girl, Quincy, into the world in 2024. If you think I’m obsessed with her, you’re not wrong. She has the biggest, happiest smile, and her giggle? Don’t even get me started… And I can’t forget our 2-year-old Cockapoo, Bristol—she’s got energy for days and LOVES every single person she meets. I’m convinced she’s the happiest dog on the planet.
Now, let me back up a few years! I’m originally from Mississippi, just south of Memphis, and then I hopped over to Jackson, Tennessee, for college at Union University. I played soccer (which, fun fact, was originally going to be my whole career path), majored in Sport Management, and joined Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. But life had other plans! Less than a month after graduation, I completely switched gears and decided I was going to become a wedding photographer. I know, I know—it sounds a little random, but it was one of those “I know what I’m meant to do” moments.
Isaac and I tied the knot in 2021 at the breathtaking Orion Hill in Memphis (if you’re not familiar with it, go check it out—seriously, it’s magical!). And let me just say, Isaac is my absolute best friend, my biggest fan, and my soulmate all rolled into one. Then, we added Bristol to the mix about a year later, and I swear she has more energy than a toddler on a sugar high. She LOVES everyone and brings so much joy to our lives!
Fast forward to 2024 when we welcomed our sweet daughter Quincy into the world. I have to say, the day Isaac and I got married and the day Quincy was born are tied for second place as the best days of my life. (I’ll tell you what takes the #1 spot in just a sec.) Quincy’s giggles, her ridiculously adorable smile, and the way she lights up when she sees Bristol are absolutely precious. I’m loving every second of being her momma and am forever thankful for the flexibility that photography gives me to spend time at home with her. God’s timing has been perfect, and I’m beyond blessed. Now, let me tell you about the overall best day of my life!
Now, let me share what I consider the best day of my life—the day I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior! I was 8 years old (around the age of the pictures above!) when the gospel truly clicked for me. I realized the significance of what Jesus did for me and the gift of eternal life He offers. After really understanding it, I told my parents I wanted to “ask Jesus into my heart.” They made sure I fully understood the decision, and after that heart-to-heart, we prayed together, and that was the moment my life changed forever.
Even my grandmother noticed the change in me—she said I went from being super sassy and mean to my brother (sorry, Kyle!) to being patient and kind (of course not all the time, but you see what I mean ha!). That’s the most important decision I’ve ever made, and it shapes every part of my life today. If you ever want to talk faith, I’m all in for it!
When I’m not snapping photos or wrangling my adorable little family, I love reading thriller novels (I’m all about suspense!), watching movies with Isaac (our movie nights are serious), going on walks with Quincy and Bristol around our adorable neighborhood, and listening to Crime Junkie podcast (IYKYK)
I also love to bake cookies (I have ONE recipe that I have perfected lol). I’m not a huge baker, so once I nailed that one cookie recipe down, that’s what I stick with. On the other hand, I do love cooking, so trying new recipes is always fun. I recently had a huge failure making lasagna soup, so you won’t catch me trying that again for a while…
I’ve asked Isaac to take me to the beach at least once a year, and he’s been totally awesome about fulfilling that request! Honestly, if you give me the beach, a sandwich, a bag of Doritos, some strawberries, and two blue Gatorades, I’m good for HOURS. I will literally sit and stare at the ocean for 8 hours straight. Isaac, though? He’s all about playing in the water with a volleyball. I’ll get in the water for that, but no one will catch me deep enough where a shark could snatch me up. No chance!
Traveling with Isaac is always an adventure, and I’m SO excited to start making travel memories with our little Quincy in tow. Sure, it’ll be more challenging, but I’d take her on beach walks and mountain hikes over staying at home any day. I mean, wouldn’t you? We’ve already taken her to the Gatlinburg Aquarium and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and it was a beautiful core memory. We can’t wait to take her more places!
I’m so glad you took the time to read about me, my family, my faith, and all the little things I love. I hope this gives you a better idea of who I am and what matters most to me. I’m so passionate about family, marriage, and celebrating love—everything a wedding should be about! Being a part of my brides’ special days is such an honor, and if you’ve connected with me here, it would be an absolute joy to capture your wedding too. 🫶🏻
